As I wanted to hang pictures on our brick walls, I wondered if something might exist that could allow us to do it without drilling, baby, drilling. A long-winded search description brought up some dodgy-looking items in hardware shops… and Brickgrip. After perusing the web site, it seemed like the perfect solution. But would they actually work? Yes, indeed, they do. Even with a wall plaque weighing 8 kg (I decided to use two Brickgrips, just in case). Well done. Very nicely engineered solution whose simplicity belies its genius.
I have purchased these a few years ago & they did the job perfectly. So now I needed some more to support some wall art on the side of the house, again they are doing the job that is needed. I may paint some black/charcoal so they blend in. I love the fact there's no need to drill into the brick & they can be moved or repositioned over & over again. Great idea.
I am using my new brick grips to train a Hoya plant up a brick wall on my deck. I love that they are sturdy, I can move them around easily, and the hooks provide good support for the Hoya vines to rest in. They have allowed me to avoid setting up a trellis, and I can add more grips as the Hoya grows. Thank you!
I would like you guys to bring back the sideways brick hooks so they were about 10-12cm long
